The earliest record of breast augmentation dates back to late 1800s. During that time, paraffin injections were used and the result is a failure. Today, such medical proceedings had undergone numerous changes. Materials used in injections had evolved from paraffin to polypropylene, and in between are substances that seem to be odd like glass balls, ox cartilages, and ground rubbers. These historical data show the need for enlargement even in the early times.
This medical procedure is normally done for cosmetic purposes. However, there are also other situations in which the procedure is needed. It can also be used in reconstructing the breast due to deformations brought by other health conditions or prior surgeries. If you want to have it for cosmetic purposes, you should avail of primary augmentation or revision-augmentation proceedings. When you want to have it to restore the original form of your breast, you can avail of primary reconstruction or revision-reconstruction proceedings.
Though breast augmentation can resolve physical issues, recent studies show that higher suicide rates can be indirectly caused by the procedure. For the first decade after the surgery, there might be no significant increase in the suicide rate. But after 10 to 19 years after the surgery, suicide rate can increase to 4.5 times and as high as 6 times after 20 years. In addition, several studies about the relationship of having an implant and drug use were conducted. It was found out that women who had implant procedures could have three times more risk of death because of alcohol and drugs. It was believed however, that the higher suicide percentage and drug use was not directly caused by implants, but the psychological and emotional problems brought about by the procedure.
Safety of the implant material is also an issue. It is a fact that most materials have medical issues like the polyutherane foam coating. Some argue that it can have carcinogenic breakdown and increase the risk of cancer. Another implant material is the polypropylene. It is commonly used in porn film industry but in fact, it has been banned because of several complications it brings. Some implants also increase the chance of having cysts because as a foreign substance, the reaction of human body is to cover the implant with normal body tissues to isolate it from the normal body composition which will further result to cysts.
Other downside of augmentation are hardening of breasts, heavier breast weight, and possible loss of breast and nipple sensation.
Breast augmentation helps on redeeming low self-esteem for most women, but behind this lies several disadvantages and medical problems that may cause serious damage. So, proper consideration should be done before taking such proceedings.

Do you now that you can actually save money when you buy used cars? You will be saving on the depreciation costs of new cars. However, you do not want to be merely persuaded by a car salesman to be buying a used car. You would want to have some assurance that buying a used car will in fact be beneficial for you rather than buying a new car.
So before you go shopping for a good second-hand car read these tips first. That way you will not be easily fooled or persuaded to buy something that will not exactly benefit you.
1. When buying a used car, you must find out the model that will best suit your budget. Think about what kind of vehicle would be most practical for you to buy. Once you have identified the type of car, check out the prices with different dealers. Shop around and try to see the trend so that you know the market value of what you’re actually buying.
2. Check the history report of the vehicle. Know its odometer reading when you first check out the car. In buying a used car, you have to scrutinize its body and its engine so that you can make sure that you are not purchasing some damaged goods that will leave you feeling like you’ve been ripped off.
3. If you know a mechanic, try asking for their opinions and recommendations. They can easily spot any damage from car crash and other hidden leaks or corrosions.
4. Know your finance options and have your loans approved before you buy any used car. Try to go around asking which financing plan will best suit you and commit to paying that so you will not fall into some bad debts.
5. Avoid high mileage used cars. Do not go for high mileage when you are buying a used car. Once you go over 12,000 miles per year then you are seriously neglecting this tip. A car that has a high mileage will have a reduced value and you may not get as much out of it as you should.
6. Always check the title of the vehicle. Never ever purchase a vehicle and take it from the previous owner without receiving the title. Without this document, you forfeit your ownership and might get you into trouble with the law.
7. Try checking out the legalities involved and procedures for title transferring. Make sure you have all the paperwork set and ready before completing any transactions.

Many people, especially men, equate physical beauty with a heaving, voluptuous chest. There are, of course, those who appreciate simple and firm, healthy breasts that women can achieve with proper exercise and nutrition.
Surveys show that many men are actually in the dark on whether a woman’s assets are authentic, or are the result of a high-tech brassiere or surgical procedure. Surprisingly, only a small fraction (generally, over 20 percent) actually expresses disappointment or surprise upon discovering the truth underneath women’s outer garments. Real beauty, after all, is more than skin deep. The things is, some less-endowed women tend to be more conscious than others especially when genetics, pregnancy, menopause or bad health contribute to below-average or not-so-attractive breasts.
It pays to be informed about product technologies that may greatly help. Actually, there are now many ways to obtain breast enhancement without necessarily going under the knife. It is no secret that surgical breast implants pose many deleterious side effects. Most women who cannot afford breast implants and would not want the snickers and ridicule of people who notice that they have undergone a boob job opt for herbal remedies.
Going the natural route to enhance breasts are generally considered far less expensive than surgery. Natural remedies include both breast enhancement exercises and quality products. When used correctly under expert medical supervision, herbal remedies can help a great deal in easing the breast-conscious woman’s concerns. Moreover, naturally enhanced breasts look and feel natural, and may suit certain men (especially conservative ones) more than breast implants. The effects of natural remedies like herbs will depend, though, on several factors that include age, overall health, lifestyle habits and body metabolism.
One of the most popular and effective ways is to use natural herbs or supplements, which must beforehand be consulted with one’s doctor. If you’ve been searching high and low for a safe, natural and effective breast enhancement preparation, chances are, you may have stumbled into such names as wild yam, fenugreek, Dong Quai, saw palmetto and other herbal remedies touted not just for their breast enhancement properties but also for their other therapeutic uses. There are tons of information about these herbal cures in books and online resources.
Whatever methods women choose to enhance their breasts, in the end what is important is making an informed decision.

Even a veteran CPAP user should consider evaluating the latest models of CPAP masks. Read on to learn how you can test drive a new mask without any risk.
The new models of CPAP masks have vastly improved. The masks are better designed and much more comfortable for the patient. Most importantly, the new masks are made with new and better materials. Any respiratory therapist or sleep doctor will agree that the “outdated” masks do not compare with the CPAP masks manufactured today.
The top manufactures of CPAP masks (ResMed, Fisher & Paykel, and Respironics) continue to spend millions of dollars on research and development of new technologies each year. The pace of improvements is comparable to the computer industry.
You don’t have to worry about the process of trying a new mask or be concerned with wasting your money. The top manufacturers, namely the ones listed above, are making it easy for authorized dealers to let patients try out new models. These dealers provide a mask exchange program that makes it easy for new patients and veterans to try out a new model.
All you need to do is answer 3 simple questions: When, What and Where?
1. When to replace your old mask? Typically a mask needs to be replaced every 3-6 months because of the high risk of bacterial infection. This is due to all the tiny crevices that could hold onto bacteria. It’s a common mistake to just order the same old mask without realizing that a better quality mask is available to you.
2. What kind of CPAP mask should you try? When considering a different type of mask, you’ll want to think about any recurring or new problems. Choosing a nasal pillow mask can ease the potential for that enclosed feeling from a nasal pillow mask, and vice versa. Some people rather have the coverage of a full face mask to prevent any excessive breathing out of the mouth. It all depends on you.
3. What brand of CPAP mask should you try? This depends on you. The most popular brand for the nasal mask is ResMed. For nasal pillow masks, you’ll want to try Respironics and ResMed. For the full face mask, the top pick is between Fisher & Paykel and ResMed.
4. What model of CPAP mask to try? We are mostly recommending the recently launched models from ResMed. Women are having great success with the only mask specifically designed for the ladies, the Swift LT for Her. For men we highly recommend both the Swift II or the Activa with new ActiveCell technology. And, for full face mask users the Quattro and the Fisher & Paykel HC431 are excellent options.
5. Where to buy a new mask? Generally, to avoid online scams, you should only buy from a website that is recommended by a leading manufacturer or an organization like the National Apnea Association. More specifically, you should look for a website that offers a mask exchange program that allows you to return a mask that doesnt work for you. MySleepMask.com offers this. Or you can simply google CPAP mask exchange program to find another dealer.
